Decibel Meter is a nice android app that uses your smartphone's microphone to measure the intensity of the surrounding sounds. As the decibel (dB) is the logarithmic unit used to measure the sound levels

decibel meter app converts your phone into a sound level meter by detecting environmental noises using your phone's microphone and measure decibel level and displaying the results in the decibel meter. it can show any decibel value between 0 and 100 dB

**Notes

Microphones in most android devices are aligned to human voice. The maximum values are limited by the device. Very loud sounds(over ~90 dB) may not be recognized in most device. So please use it as just an auxiliary tools. If you need more accurate dB values, we recommend a actual sound level meter for that.
