Remote control unit is a FREE universal remote control solution for your home appliances and multimedia. Remote control unit controls, using infrared technology, your televisions, set-top boxes, receivers and even your air conditioners. Through the WiFi protocol, you can control Smart TVs and your media streamers. This application also allows you to view photos and videos from your phone on a Smart TV.

 Remote control unit: a remote control to control most of your devices

Remote control unit works with the latest smartphones using a built-in infrared (IR) transmitter (Samsung, LG or HTC phones). Remote control unit is an IR remote and WiFi emulator, it will replace your remote controls by:

- TELEVISION

- Smart TV: LG and Samsung

- Cable and decoder

- Air conditioners (AC)

- Multimedia stream reader: Roku, Apple TV and Chromecast

- AV Receiver

- CD and DVD player

- Projector

- Home automation: iRobot and LED illumination

View photos and videos from your phone on your Smart TV

Remote control unit controls your television, media streamers, or mouse and keyboard with the WiFi protocol. You can even send photos and videos from your phone to a Smart TV. It's nice to see your favorite photos and videos on your phone, so imagine how they will affect a large, high-resolution television screen.

 Remote control unit: Customized system

Remote control unit also offers a customized "system" of device grouping that allows you to simultaneously control multiple devices. For example, you can define a SURE "system" for your living room, which will replace both your Smart TV, decoder, cable and AV receiver. So you can turn on or off all these devices with a single button.

 Specific authorizations

Our privacy policy is very strict (see our link below), all access to user data must be allowed and no logon is required to run our application. During installation, we will ask you for the following permissions:

1. Identity: for billing, in case you would like to buy the version without advertising.

2. Location: geo-location "coarse" only (not GPS) as we prepare our infrastructure for IoT and advertising.

3. Photos / Media / Files

4. Microphone - We need to access the microphone for voice commands of Smart TVs

5. WiFi: for connecting to a Smart TV (connected TV).

6. Device ID and Info Calls: to mute your TV when you receive a call on your phone (to be activated in the settings).
