StormSupport is a comprehensive information app that helps user make necessary preparations for storms and hurricanes.

1) Alerts: Color-coded weather alerts near your location, provided by the Dark Sky API. Get all alerts in a 20 mile radius, instead of just at your GPS location. You can also search by zip code! Just click the alert to get more detailed info.

2) Evacuation information detailing why one should follow evacuation warnings and procedures, complete with photographs, graphic organizers, and professional sources.

3) Live hurricane tracking map. See the current radar.

4) Flood map data: A map of the U.S. National Flood Hazard Layer (NFHL) from Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), combined with crucial historical flood data. Search for a location, and get a flood map assessing your risk.

5) Social damage reporting with crowdsourced maps. Describe the date, cause, and location of a damage incident to add to the map! Currently providing hundreds of damage reports from recent storms.
