The Tale of the Cat with Boots

The cat with boots? (Il gatto con gli stivali or Cagliuso, in Italian, Le chat botté, in French) is a European folk tale compiled in 1500 by Giovanni Francesco Straparola in his novel Las noches agradables, in 1697 by Charles Perrault in his book Cuentos de mamá goso as The master cat and previously in 1634 by Giambattista Basile as Cagliuso.
