TSIMA Radio

Radio 4MW is currently broadcasting weekdays from Monday to Friday starting at 7am – 5pm and have music after hour on automation. Our broadcast covers the Torres Strait including the Northern Peninsula Area and as far as Western Province PNG.

We currently have three broadcasters delivering a variety of programs throughout the day with regular contributors. Our main aim is to inform, educate and entertain our listeners through covering local community events, as well as State, National and International stories.

Radio 4MW has been broadcasting for over 30 years and was established in 1985 and continues to play a big part in covering news, sports, life stories and local events. We have faced many challenges along the way, however this has not stopped us from broadcasting to our listeners over the years.
