Official Application for the technical fest of University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun, ‘IGNITE’.

The world is digitalizing now faster than ever and India is not the one to hold back. With Digital India underway and in full flow, we present to you the theme for the year of Ignite’17 - “Digital India: Prism of Possibilities”.

This year, we plan Ignite to be on the radar of every student in the college who is seeking a bundle of fun, learning, and knowledge all at one place. A prism refracts white light into seven colors and similarly prism of possibility is refraction of one achieved opportunity into multiple. We have possibilities available in each moment than we realize and IGNITE gives you the opportunity to let your imagination run away and come back drenched with opportunities. It gives you a chance to be visionaries who not only believe that impossible can be done, but that it must be done.

The application is designed with a consistent and intuitive user interface.

Features:

• Event descriptions along with date, time, venue, charges for registration, and prize

money of the event.

• Day wise schedule for all the events.

• Event information also available in offline mode.

• Instant changes in details of the events, if any, while connected to the internet. Details are updated automatically every time the app is re-opened.

• A wish-list feature to which the user can add their favorite events and access them quickly later on.

• Notifications for the events which were added to the wish-list.

• Result updates at the end of the day.

• An in-app game “Things with Wings”- simple and fun game for which a competition will be held. Make the highest score and win.

Smooth gestures and transitions and simple interface makes the application very easy to use. All the details of the events are easily available to all the interested participants. Once downloaded, people can check the details on the go. All the events have been categorized according to their field.

With any change in the event details, they are reflected in the app instantly. Also, push notification alerts if any changes have been made to the favorite events added to the wish list.

Result announcements at the end of each day of Ignite’17.

A simple and fun in-app game, “Things with Wings”. Make your highest score and win the in-app event. No registration fee for playing the in-app game. The winner and the runner-up will be awarded.
