1. Fishtail Braids With a Hat

Part your hair into two sections, and then fishtail each side. After you've secured the ends, gently tug at the strands to loosen the braid for a messier finish. Finish with a hat.

2. All Down With Baby Braids

Grab random 1-inch sections of hair, and braid them tightly for tiny braids that blend into the rest of your hair. Top with a gorgeous flower crown.

3. Boho Pigtails

Split your hair in half and loosely braid each side. Give your braids extra texture by rubbing the bristles of a clean, old toothbrush against the braid.

4. Rope and Rosette Headband

This is easier to recreate than it looks! First, get a long piece of braided rope from your local craft store and hot-glue tiny artificial rosebuds onto it. Let it dry. Then, tie the headband around your head and braid the rope that hangs down into a single braid on the right side of your head. Voilà!

5. Multiple Braids

Grab a small section of hair behind your ear, braid it all the way down, wrap it across your forehead, and tuck it behind your other ear. Use a bobby pin to secure it in place, and then braid the rest of your hair to the side.

6. Beautifully Braided and Adorned

After you've braided your hair, gently weave a dainty chain necklace through it, letting it drape over the braid.

7. '70s Side Braids

Keep your bangs out of your face by braiding them. Starting at your center part, braid your bangs into a small section of hair at the front of your head, then continue the braid around to the back and pin it.

8. Boho Yarn Braid

Tie decorative yarn or string around a 4-inch section of hair at your roots and secure it with a bobby pin. Then, incorporate the yarn into one of the three strands of hair as you braid it.

9. Tight Braids

Part your hair down the middle, and then tightly French braid each section all the way down and secure.

10. Tousled Side Braid

To get this gorgeous textured side braid, create a side part, and then tightly French braid your hair from the left of your part down along the side of your head to the ends. Once it's secured, gently tug at the plaits to loosen the braid and give it a softer, sexier look.

11. Braided Updo

Dutch braid (learn how to Dutch braid here) the top half of your hair from temple to temple, and secure it with an elastic. Then, wrap the remaining bottom half of your hair into a bun, and pin it into place. (If your hair is long enough, wrap the tail end of the Dutch braid around the bun.).
