Ethanol Fleet

The Ethanol Fleet app was designed to disseminate information about second-generation ethanol, during the Rio+20 Conference. Developed by Petrobras Biocombustível, this new fuel will be used to transport attendants at the Rio+20 Conference.

To access the service, users must install the Ethanol Fleet app on their smartphones or tablets. Once installed, the application will ask users to insert their name, email address and validation code.

 Once running, the app will show the nearest transport point, allowing users to select boarding location and time. Their reservation will be confirmed. Users will be notified fifteen minutes ahead of boarding and will be able to track the bus route on their phones.

Produced from sugar cane bagasse, second-generation ethanol allows for a 40% production increase using the same land area. This means saving more land for environmental conservation and food production. And cleaner energy for the planet.
