KDM songs

KDM stands for Kadazan, Dusun and Murut which collectively form the largest ethnic group in Sabah in the island of Borneo. Kadazandusun is the term assigned to the unification of the classification of two indigenous peoples of Sabah, Malaysia, the ethnic groups Kadazan and Dusun. They are found mainly on the west coast of Sabah, the surrounding locales, and various locations in the interior. The Murut, found in the interior areas of Keningau, Tenom, Nabawan and Pensiangan

The effort of developing this KDM songs is also partly an attempt to introduce the language of KDM to the world through song and music. The aesthetic value of a song lies not only in the music, but also in the language. It would be difficult but was definitely not out of reached. We believe whatever the challenges, if it is done based on the love of the language and commitment, it can be done.
