The learning game like2be and the accompanying material based on it (card set with three specialization options) are designed for career choice lessons (3rd cycle, 7th & 8th grade). like2be is based on Curriculum 21 and connects to the “Career Orientation” department.

The learning game serves as a playful introduction to the topic during approx. one lesson. The primary goals are the game itself and dealing with the game content. While playing, the students are confronted with different professions, different people, diverse professional biographies and CVs.

In the game, the players take on the role of fictional professional coaches. Its task is to find the best possible suitable position for people looking for work.

By experimenting with different life plans and professional biographies, young people not only get to know a large number of new professions and training opportunities, but also learn how diverse (professional) biographical paths can be. The learning game helps young people to develop a reflective relationship to their own career aspirations.
