RemoteTube

RemoteTube is a youtube player that can me remotely controlled.

Developed for Android TV Boxes, but can be used on any Android device.

To send videos to this app shoud install RemoteTube in your smartphone ControlYoutube

Features:

+ Allow automatic startup on boot

+ Play videos in High-definition if available

+ Automatic startup on boot

+ Allow to configure a password for remote access

+ Allow to play YouTube videos, playlist and live streams

Requirements :

- Both Android devices must be on the same WiFi Network

- Youtube version 4.2.16 or higher installed

The RemoteTube has the following limitations in the current version :

- Don't play restricted videos for mobile devices

- Don't allow you to select the video quality, the best quality is automatically selected

- Don't allow enable or disable caption

- Don't play private videos, only public videos

Known bugs:

- Some playlists don't load correctly

- Android 2.2 (Froyo) don't play live streaming
