Yes, that number is correct, I added almost 700 new icons. There are many new apps including: Pokemon Go, Google Duo, Allo, Snapseed, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. You can view some of the latest additions in the "Icons" page of the app; the rest you will undoubtedly notice immediately in your app drawer.
