One of the more unpredictable sides of Mother Nature, hurricanes strike the moment when people least expect it. Thus, SafetyNet is a powerful app that helps users prepare for hurricane season and avoid last minute planning during these life threatening situations.

With SafetyNet, users can make evacuation plans, find available shelter and carpool locations, and notify others in a quick and efficient manner. From a humanitarian standpoint, users can find volunteer organizations and pin locations onto a customizable map. SafetyNet also includes an information component featuring general precautions and an emergency preparedness checklist.
