School

School' is a piece that was presented as an online and as a physical gallery experience from 2004.

It’s a drawing from memory of my old secondary school in Wythenshawe, that had been knocked down in 2001. The piece is an intimate portrayal of incidents and events that went, around and about the school environments during playtime, in fact the length of the piece is 15 minutes long, the length of playtime, at which time the soundtrack ends and the CD pops out ready for the next viewer or participant to play. I saw the piece as a kind of alternative friends re-united in that I’m presenting the kind of anecdotal details that people may share on this kind of site about their former classmates.
