Speedmeter

The application is designed to measure the current speed of movement, average speed, maximum speed, travel time, altitude, direction of travel.

The direction of movement is represented by a numerical indicator ranging from 0 to 360 degrees, as well as names:

N (range 348.75° - 11.25°);

NNE (range 11.25° - 33.75°);

NE (range 33.75° - 56.25°);

ENE (range 56.25° - 78.75°);

E (range 78.75° - 101.25°);

ESE (range 101.25° - 123.75°);

SE (range 123.75° - 146.25°);

SSE (range 146.25° - 168.75°);

S (range 168.75° - 191.25°);

SSW (range 191.25° - 213.75°);

SW (range 213.75° - 236.25°);

WSW (range 236.25° - 258.75°);

W (range 258.75° - 281.25°);

WNW (range 281.25° - 303.75°);

NW (range 303.75° - 326.25°);

NNW (range 326.25° - 348.75°);

The "Accuracy" metric indicates the calculated accuracy of your current location. For example, "Accuracy" - 10 meters means that the GPS has determined your position with an error of 10 meters.

Important! Calculation of indicators "Current speed", "Distance", "Time", "Direction" - are calculated only if the value of the "Accuracy" indicator is < 20 m. If the accuracy indicator is higher than 20 m, the application will expect an improvement in the reception level of the GPS signal.

Note! Heading is not a compass! This indicator is calculated on the basis of gps data and can have an error of up to 30 degrees from the true value.

Important! This application works only when the gps module on the phone is turned on, and when the signal level from the satellites is received.

For the application to work in the background, you must add it to the white list of energy saving applications.
