Toggle Mic

Mutes and unmutes the microphone. Running the application will simply toggle the microphone, there is no screen. When muted, the application adds a notification icon and puts a button to un-mute it in the notification. Unlike other applications that secure the microphone and thus deny access to the microphone, this application just mutes it and un-mutes it. The difference being that this application won't crash an app like camera that needs access to the mic... the camera just won't pick anything up from the mic.

I created this application because I use my phone to record my kid's sporting events and don't need or want all the background noise. I was having to use YouTube editor or iMovie to extract all the audio and that was too time consuming. With this feature, you just turn the mic off and record your movie and then turn the mic back on.
