Udacity Android Movies Project (Unreleased)

This is Project 1-2 of the Google/Udacity Android Nanodegree. The app presents a grid arrangement of movies allowing the user to change the filter of movies by most popular, highest-rated as well favorited items selected by the user. The user can tap on a movie to receive more details or watch the YouTube trailer.

1) Built a CursorAdapter to populate a GridView of movies from a local SQLite database populated by a JSON response as the result of a Service class.

2) User can change the UI to filter by most popular, highest-rated, and favorited items and can read reviews in the detail view or watch the YouTube trailer using a YouTube explicit Intent.

3) Responsive design for tablets including a two pane layout.
