Volock

Volock is a learning vocabulary flashcard app that is integrated as a mobile phone screen locker. It works as a background application. Volock is integrated with Quizlet that enables users to use more than 1 million premade flashcards. The application uses a grading system to track down the words that users typically make mistakes on and display them more often than others.

Users create a list of words that they aim to learn and input them in the app with their meanings. Sets of vocabulary can be organized in numerous decks. Once a deck is chosen, the words (vocabulary flash cards) will be used as the password to access your phone. This will prompt users to type the correct answer to the vocabulary word in order to unlock their phone. If the user is unable to remember the word or has to use his phone urgently, he can push the OK button that will flip the flashcard and show the definition of the word before proceeding.
