This update runs for 34 days, concluding on December 30, 2025, and features two major banner phases along with several new events and quality-of-life enhancements.
Zenless Zone Zero 2.4 Update: Compensation Rewards
As compensation for the update, players who reached Inter-Knot Level 4 by the update time receive 300 Polychromes, with an additional 300 Polychromes awarded due to issue fixes. These can be claimed until the end of version 2.4, providing support to help players engage with the new content efficiently.
Zenless Zone Zero 2.4 Update: New Characters
Two new S-Rank agents, Dialyn and Banyue, debut in the 2.4 update. Dialyn’s banner runs from November 26 to December 17, followed by Banyue’s banner alongside a rerun of Ellen’s banner lasting about 12 days. Players can recruit these agents using Master Encrypted Tapes and Polychromes.

Both agents have new Tactical Prism Programs and exclusive Task Force Missions, adding strategic depth to combat modes such as Hollow Zero. Interactive Trust Events and Quality Time Events are permanently available for these agents after obtaining them and completing their stories, enabling players to unlock dynamic backgrounds and exchange accessories for cosmetic customization.
Zenless Zone Zero 2.4 Update: New Story Chapter
Version 2.4 introduces a new story chapter expanding the main narrative and several new gameplay events including “Simulated Sequence Showdown” and “All-New Program.” These events provide opportunities to earn valuable in-game resources such as Encrypted Master Tapes. The Suibian Temple feature receives a significant upgrade with an auto-management function unlocking at Restoration level 35, allowing up to 20 hours of automated operation per session. The BooBox system is also enhanced with an increased daily refresh limit of 50 and better chances to acquire S-Rank Bangboo, alongside higher daily exchange caps when reaching Suibian Temple Restoration level 25.
Zenless Zone Zero 2.4 Update: Balance Improvements
Balance improvements are notable in this patch, featuring increased stun damage multipliers when agents with stun specialties hit stunned enemies and enhancements to agents’ EX Special Attacks and Sheer Damage. Several bug fixes address animation issues with agents like Seed and Yuzuha, audio problems with enemies, UI inconsistencies, and enemy kill count errors in Hollow Zero challenges. Visual and interface polish includes improved camera effects, controller button prompts, NPC model optimizations, and refined voice-overs for better immersion.
