Bird Spree

Bird Spree is an android game application that is build and published using Corona SDK Simulator and LUA as its programming language. The game was entitled "Bird Spree" because of the word Spree defined as unrestrained activity by which the bird is continuously fly with no limitations in distance. The concept of the game is to achieve and acquire a high score by simply tapping for the bird to fly and dodging each obstacles on a particular game background. The game background has 3 randomized designs which are the forest, the mountain, and the lake and each background has its own obstacles to be avoided.

There are several ways for the bird to survive, these are: (1) there are worms on each stone which is consistently appeared and it's up to the player if he / she will pick it, (2) there are coins appeared in every game and its value changes as the distance increases and it is use to upgrade boosters, and (3) Or by dodging every obstacles and prevent from getting chased by the running screen.

The coins gained can be use to upgrade boosters: bird's life or the flight-o-meter, the food or the worms, and the wings for the consumption of energy. The coins gained can be also use for buying new bird characters namely: Cockatoo, Falcon, and Eagle. By default, the character used is Maya.
