  Due to Android 13 new restrictions, the user now has to manually select the location to the backup file copied from Windows Phone. After the backup file is selected, you need to give permission for this app to be the default messaging app. After the import is completed, your messaging app must be set as default app.

  1. Due to Google's new restrictions on SMS permissions, this app doesn't have SMS permissions anymore; It still imports SMS messages, but you may experience issues on Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo.
  2. The PRO version of this app is now called Convert SMS from Windows Phone PRO. It still supports MMS & group messages & validates automatically invalid .msg files, but now only CONVERTS backups from Windows Phone as Android backups

  1. Add MMS and group messages support on the newest Import SMS from Windows Phone PRO version; The PRO version also validates automatically invalid .msg files; it can be found in Store and is a paid app.
  P.S: I'll still help with the validation of .msg files if you're contacting me via email, if you can't/won't buy the PRO version.
  2. Improved performance of the application; The retrieval is faster according to your phone's processor (CPU)
  3. Add Android 9 support and fixed minor issues.
