LANnouncer działa w tle, nasłuchując na LAN (lokalnej), SMS lub GCM (Google Cloud Messaging) ogłosić wydarzenia z systemem automatyki domowej. LANnouncer podpory TTS (text-to-speech), tak, że wydarzenia mogą być całkowicie obce, a także kilka podstawowych alarmy, strobes i tekst powiadomienia. Można również robić zdjęcia lub przygotować je od lokalnych kamer IP.

Sam, LANnouncer nie jest bardzo cenne. Ale przy pomocy Home Automation System, receptur IFTTT lub skryptów, może przynieść zdarzenia do życia.

Google has deprecated Google Cloud Messaging. This version moves to Firebase Messaging and fixes a few issues caused by other recent Google API changes.

Previous versions of LANNouncer will stop working soon, probably around end-of-May 2019, when Google shuts down GCM. Consequently, this is a mandatory update.

If you have Premium, ensure "Enable GCM" (still called that) is on, rather than "No IFTTT Support", or the additional slots will not display.
