An app made by two critical-care nurses and one flight paramedic. This oxygen duration calculator does both high AND low pressure flow types (LPM and Vented).

We use a "button-select" type interface as opposed to the "keypad-entry" system used in many apps. This makes the app easier to use in a bouncing ambulance/helicopter/airplane.

This app also shows the calculations, so you can transcribe the numbers to your charting with minimal fuss. Finally, if you are new to medicine and feel embarrassed asking for cylinder sizes, you can (discretely) check out our Cylinder Guide.

Tank Conversion Factors:

D Tank - 0.16

E Tank - 0.28

M Tank - 1.56

H Tank - 3.14

Jumbo D - 0.25

Kevlar - 0.25

LOX - 860

LOX systems are now supported

- The conversion factor is 860

- To access the LOX calculations, go to low or high pressure as usual. Under Tank Size:, there is a new tank titled LOX

- Because LOX systems use a different fill-monitor than tank PSI, you will be taken to new screen that asks you for the Amount of LOX and then the flow questions that you are familiar with
