Truly my Lord is with me, He will guide me through (Qur’an 26:62)
People with hearing and speech loss face challenges in communicating, particularly in crowds. This difficulty may result in feelings of loneliness, frustration, anger, low self-worth, hopelessness, and depression. If there is a member in your family who is deaf and uses sign language and aspires to learn more about Islam, consider the following app to help him or her feel welcome and encouraged. A sign language (also signed language or simply signing) is a language which uses manual communication and body language to convey meaning, as opposed to acoustically conveyed sound patterns. This can involve simultaneously combining hand shapes, orientation and movement of the hands, arms or body, and facial expressions to fluidly express a speaker's thoughts. In Pakistan this year, the first ever Muslim Prayer (Salah) has been created in Sign Language. The prayer app has been devised by Takbir Publishers. Takbir Publishers provides professional resources to cultivate a holistic celebration of Muslim identity and diversity in the whole world. It helped create the first information sign app Salah in collaboration with Mr. Abdul Hameed Bhutta, whose historic and lone landmark struggle in Dealing with deep Personal Disappointment and Tragedy of being blessed with three daughters but all with speech and hearing impairment. This loss helped him to Focus on helping others. Part of the impetus of his work was the realization that he should be able to help parents like him who were worried about the lack of educational aids in imparting religious education to such children with special needs. Mr. Abdul Hameed Bhutta was dealing with something painful, but dealing with such things is a key part of the human experience, something we all deal with, and with God’s strength he came up with a remarkable book created for the sole purpose of helping the parents of deaf & hard of hearing children with the information and support they need in dealing with their child's religious education needs. Takbir Publishers, Seeking to help Muslims with speech and hearing impairment perform Salah, has launched a new Sign Language app to translate the Salah into sign language. Takbir Publishers knows perfectly well that deaf Muslims are in the double quandary of not having Islamic texts they can thoroughly understand, and not having teachers who can adequately answer their questions. Therefore we at Takbir Publishers, aim to facilitate the provision of such groundbreaking sign apps at android based platforms. The goal is to produce and distribute such apps in sign language free of charge for deaf muslims all over the world.
