St Mary's Sr. Sec. School, Rudrapur

In 1990, Bishop Anthony Fernandes invited the Congregation of St. Anne’s Providence to open a community of Sister. A plot of land was bought in 1991. In the same year, Sister opened a school in a temporary shed. On 8th December, the foundation stone was laid for the Convent building. It was completed and inaugurated on the 23rd October, 1992.

he school is primarily meant to provide Catholic children with sound education based on religious and moral values. Nevertheless other pupils may also be admitted with due respect to their religious feeling and freedom of conscience. Discipline regularity and hard work are insisted upon not for the sake of external formality but for the right formation of character of our students, which is the chief aim of our institution. Thus we strive to mould the personality of each and every student to be worthy citizens of tomorrow.
