Takhti - Urdu Alphabet is the result of our struggle to find a quick and easy way to teach the Urdu alphabet to our daughter. The app is a user friendly, or we should say, CHILD friendly way to introduce young children to the Urdu language.

Takhti - Urdu Alphabet has a variety of features that will make it easy for your child to grasp Urdu letters and words.

Features include:

-Urdu alphabet song designed to help your child memorize the alphabet.

-Flashcards: Identify and pronounce individual letters and flip the card to reveal an image and word associated with that letter

-Practice: Allows the child to trace the letter and learn how to write each letter.

-Game: A multiple choice game that allows the child to select the correct letter for an Urdu word.

-Word Bank: A list of the entire alphabet; the child can select a letter to reveal a list of words and images starting with that letter.

This initiative targets native and non-native Urdu speaking children to acclimatize them to the Urdu language.
