Technology Selection Tool(TST)

The TST recommends appropriate treatment technology options based on water quality contamination test results. It also allows the user to compare water quality against national and international quality standards, including WHO, India, Ghana, USEPA, among others. Primary and Secondary Technology options are compared using a star rating across four verticals: Capital Cost, Operating Cost, Reliable Water Quality, Environment-friendliness. The Tool also comprises brief description of technologies, water quality parameter definitions, importance of safe water to humans, health hazards, etc.
