Ferrari is an Italian high-performance supercar and race car manufacturer based in Maranello, Italy. Ferrari was founded by Enzo Ferrari in 1929, as "Scuderia Ferrari", a company that sponsored drivers and made race cars before moving into the production of commercial vehicles known as Ferrari in 1947. Throughout its history, the company has participated the longest in the world of racing, especially in Formula One, where it has been a huge success.

The company then also developed independent car production in 1946, and later became Ferrari S.p.A., and is now controlled by the Fiat group. The company is headquartered in Maranello, near Modena, Italy.

Ferrari also takes part in Formula One competition. One of the famous drivers is the seven-time world champion from Germany, Michael Schumacher.
