Good parasite control in cattle is the cornerstone of an effective animal health program. 90% – 95% of the parasite population is found in the pasture and only 5%-10% of the parasite burden is in the animals at any given time. Properly timed treatment of cattle while on pasture can lower the parasite burden on the pasture. Based on timing of pasture green up, the app will calculate the proper timing and frequency of on-pasture treatments to reduce parasite burdens in the animals and on the pasture.
