Anime Attack on Titan tells the story of mankind who was massacred centuries ago to near extinction by terrible human-like creatures called Titans. This forces humans to hide and dwell in fear behind very high and large concentric walls.

Titan's appearance is similar to that of humans in general, it's just that its size is like a giant and its gait or run is not normal. Another thing that makes Titans truly terrifying is that their lust for human flesh doesn't arise from hunger, but simply a pure killing pleasure or obsession that just pops up every time they see a human.
