The Free Aussie App!

Learn to speak like an Aussie an understand their lingo.

- Translate your English to Aussie (and vice versa). Over 400 words and phrases supported

- Upload your translations straight to your Facebook profile (requires login to Facebook via Menu>Connect to Facebook)

- Send via SMS and receive Aussie SMS notifications (for SMS sent via the Aussie app on another device), which can open the Aussie app and display the text received, ready to translate back to English (available only on phones, not tablets)

- Flash cards and Aussie search feature

- Share text to and from the app

- Aussie 'Sounds', listen to some of Steve Irwin's quotes

- Touch one of the animals to hear them talk

Compatible with mobile phones on Android 2.2 or higher. This app is suitable for, but not yet fully optimised for tablets.

Please note:

Sending an SMS via the Aussie app will open your SMS application and add the tag "Sent via the Aussie app"; this will add extra characters to your SMS. To avoid extra charges from your network operator, you can disable this feature via Menu>Settings. Disabling this feature will also disable the SMS Notifications feature. The SMS Notification feature supports a message consisting of up to 4 SMS messages.
