Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) is a leading cause of death in infants. Following the American Academy of Pediatrics-based safe infant sleep recommendations presented in this app reduces the risk of sudden unexpected infant death. Unless otherwise indicated, these recommendations should be followed from birth to one year. Share this app with family and other caregivers! Discuss safe sleep with your baby's health care provider. This app also can be used to track and share baby's milestones, photos and daily activities.

This app was developed by scientists at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School of Rutgers University collaborating with volunteer data scientists at Microsoft as part of their AI for Good efforts and Tata Consultancy Services.
