Basic Overhaul Trans-axle

This Basic Overhaul Tran-axle app all of the main procedures for removing and

inspecting the transaxle unit.

1. Disassemble transaxle

Remove all of the parts surrounding the transmission case. Then

take off the case and remove the input shaft, output shaft and the

differential.

2. Inspect transaxle

Use a measuring instrument to measure the degree of wear that

has occurred on the transaxle parts. Replace any parts that show

excessive wear.

3.Reassemble transaxle

While executing all procedures, carefully check the direction and

positioning of all parts.
