Inspired by the Bhagavadgita rendering in part by Sri Ghantasala Venkateshwara Rao, the renowned Film Playback Singer and Music Director Gangadhara Sastry sang all the 700 verses of Bhagavadgita with meaning and recorded them in Telugu.

It comprises of Mr. Gangadhara Sastry's rendition, annotation and context for all the verses (Shlokas) of the Gita; the full transcript of the text is also made available. Other features include Shloka of the day, About the Artist and much more.

The audio has been recorded in Dolby 5.1 digital, the dialogue between Sri Krishna and Arjuna has been lucidly described through the use of an effective blend of Carnatic and Hindustani music.
