As part of our practical innovation we have developed this app which allows our clients and employees to capture bit run performance data which is critical to continuous design improvement. The Tercel Bit Run Applications enables the user to capture this critical data after each bit run, directly on a smart phone or tablet.

The application captures the well-know IADC dull grade (version 1992). It also records the drill bit details, the well data, the application context, mechanical drilling parameters, hydraulic drilling parameters, downhole driving system, geomechanical environment, operational comments, run evaluation, and BHA and pictures.

It also simplifies the capture of the detailed dull grading of each cutter, blade by blade.

The application can be used stand-alone. The reports are stored locally on the phone or tablet and sent by Email in .xml format. For Tercel users, the application is coupled with the Tercel run database.
