We are Roman coin collectors!

We conceived Corvus primarily as a tool for ourselves because there was nothing else out there!

As any collector, we have our own preferences and collecting habits but when we decided to develop Corvus as a public app, we made it as flexible as we could to accommodate different ways other collectors may want to group and describe their coins.

You can set up multiple sub-collections to categorize your coins. You can include as much information on your coins as you prefer. You can easily modify or delete coins or entire collections afterwards.

We store your collection in the cloud. You don’t have to worry about losing your data or the work you put into describing and cataloguing your coins.

Our reference library includes over 10,000 coins from Augustus through to Aurelian which we will finish uploading by the end of September. We continue to add coins daily and plan to extend the reference library to cover later periods as well as the Republican era. We provide the best pricing and provenance information we have on each coin in our library. We also provide our own subjective view of what each coin is worth at auction today. Every coin comes with a high-quality photograph and full description. We only include higher grade coins with complete legends in our reference libraries to ensure they can be easily used for attribution.

We will continue to add features to Corvus over the coming months including ways to batch upload coin information, more ways to display and share your collection and full key-word search capabilities.

Unlike most apps, we have full human support for Corvus. We are happy to field questions about the app itself as well as Roman coin collection in general. We may not be able to always respond right away but will always get back to you within twelve hours of your initial email.
