Funashi Shogi

Funashi Shogi means in Japanese, No-pawn Shogi.The rules are the same as regular shogi except that there are no pawns.

It is said that it is good for Shogi beginners to know the fun of Shogi because it will be a fierce arrangement of pieces from the early stage. You don't even need to know the offenses such as "utifudume" and "nifu".
