IMID-Cast

IMID Cast, an FST Biometrics application, is an app for your tablet that makes in motion identification more user-friendly. The app gives IMID Access users more autonomy and less need to rely on administrative or IT support. IMID Cast allows new users to enroll themselves in the system and reduces the learning curve for new users to the IMID system. IMID Cast has two modes:

1) Self-enrollment mode:

The self-enrollment process allows new users to create their own biometric profile and immediately activate it. No need to pre-schedule users and no need to assign personnel to enroll new users. Users just go to the self-enrollment station and register at any time; No need to schedule an appointment or dedicate a staff member to the process. Once a user's biometric profile is activated, the user can start using the system right away, without any delay.

2) Door panel mode

When your tablet is placed next to an access point, IMID Cast will provide users with video-based visual feedback, letting users know if the camera can see them, when and if their biometric profile is recognized and if they are permitted to enter. This shortens the learning curve of new users and enhances the overall users’ experience.
