NASec

NASec computes basic cross-sectional properties. This free app is mainly for naval architects and structural engineers dealing with ships scantlings. The results and input data can be in metric or US units. The section drawing is concurrent with any input update. A global library of bulb profiles is provided.

The following section properties are calculated: Areas, Moments of inertia, Section moduli and Gyration radii about the centroidal axes.
