About NHA

National Heritage Academies (NHA) partners with local charter school boards to build and manage tuition free public charter schools. NHA’s system of schools is designed to eliminate the achievement gap and provide a public school choice to families so that their children are prepared for success in high school, college, and beyond. National Heritage Academies utilizes extensive assessments to inform and adjust teaching to individualize instruction, which results in consistent academic growth. Currently the company partners with school boards in nine states (Colorado, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, North Carolina, Louisiana, Georgia, New York and Wisconsin) to operate 76 schools serving more than 50,000 students. Founded in 1995, National Heritage Academies is based in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
