Phonar

Phonar is a platform for helping you track all of your important assets, whether they are people, pets, or vehicles (or anything else). Whether you want to know where your friends are or your children, Phonar is one app that lets you track everything you care about. We support smartphone-to-smartphone tracking for free (the other person doesn’t even need to have the app installed!), and through the app you can purchase GPS transmitters to track people or assets without smartphones.

Phonar needs the following permissions:

• Your personal information: To help you pick friends from your Contacts

• Services that cost you money: Use SMS to obtain the location of friends who don’t have the app installed

• Your location: GPS to find where you are

• Your messages: Check your SMS to automatically verify your phone #

• Network Communication: Internet access to communicate with our servers

• Hardware controls: Use the camera to take pictures and for the Augmented Reality view

• Read phone state: Read your own phone number (done only once, during registration)

• System tools: Prevents screen from dimming in lens view
