FF OB50 Release Schedule
Garena Free Fire OB50 update is scheduled to release on July 30, 2025, with the rollout beginning at 9:30 AM IST. Servers will go offline for a few hours for the update, so minor downtime is anticipated around the release window.
What to Expect in FF OB50 Update
1. New Character: Rin Yagami
Rin Yagami, the younger sister of Hayato, is introduced via the Diamond Royale crate along with a new support pet that increases EP regeneration while crouching.
She will debut as a stealth-focused ninja with an active skill, Kunai Flurry, which generates a kunai weapon every 8 seconds that deals increasing damage to Gloo Walls and targets at a distance. Her featured passive improves rifle spread after consecutive headshots, benefiting precise shooters and snipers.
2. Naruto Chapter 2 Collaboration
OB50 update brings back the wildly popular Naruto x Free Fire collaboration (Chapter 2), which focuses on new skins, ninja-themed events, and the introduction of Naruto villains for the first time. Expect shinobi-inspired outfits, event areas, and special collaborative missions throughout August 2025!
3. New Travel Zone
In this new area, survivors who get eliminated will automatically revive up to 5 times, adding an exciting twist and longer engagement opportunities in survival matches.
4. New Weapon TECGUN2 and All Weapon Adjustments
The TECGUN2 stands out for its excellent accuracy and fire rate, offering new gunplay strategies for competitive encounters.

- Weapon adjustments include new upgrades, nerfs/buffs, and the addition of the Tech Pistol with a high-capacity magazine.
- UI improvements: Sharper fonts, cleaner menus, and a streamlined inventory system for better ease-of-use.
- Level 3 backpacks and scopes get visual upgrades.
6. Other Noteworthy Additions
- New event modes, enhanced graphics, and additional vehicle options.
- Frequent in-game events and cosmetic bundles to celebrate the update, including the Booyah Pass and Magic Cube Store refreshes.
