alladziina aataynaahumu alkitaaba yatluunahu haqqa tilaawatihi ulaa-ika yu / minuuna bihi waman yakfur bihi faulaa-ika humu alkhaasiruuna

Those to whom We have given the Book, they read it in truth, they believe in it. And those who disbelieve in it, they are the losers. (Qs 2: 121)

الذين آتيناهم الكتاب يتلونه حق تلاوته أولئك يؤمنون به ومن يكفر به فأولئك هم الخاسرون (121)

Among the People of the Book are those who follow the books of God revealed to His prophets, as the Jews follow the Torah, the Christians follow the Gospel and so forth, some really read the books that were sent down to those with a reading that really are not followed by their desires and desires. They read it with the actual reading by understanding it wholeheartedly, not embracing or interpreting it according to self-will, not adding, reducing or altering it.

According to Ibn Masud and Ibn Abbas: reading with the correct reading is to legalize it, to prohibit the forbidden, to read it as revealed by Allah, not to alter or to turn words out of the place where they should and not to dump something from the book with non-takwilnya takil.
