You lose a life each time your health bar goes empty.

There is no way to replenish your current health bar except by finishing the level.

You instantly lose a life if you fall into a hole.

Some levels have hidden icons on them which add an extra life.

If you have more than 3 lives in reserve after beating all of level 1 then when you start level 2 you will start with 3 lives.

If you lose all your lives, the game ends.

You can start from the first stage of the level you played last.
