The application will enable individuals, particularly students to do video streaming without having access to the Internet but only Local Area Connection. The use of this application is expected to reduce the use of Internet bandwidth. It is also expected that students especially those in rural areas can learn better with hassle-free streaming of educational videos. This study is significant in that it introduces an application for video streaming which can benefit students in rural areas, as well as students in urban areas. The application is not only beneficial for educational institutions but also for corporate companies and organisations and their employees or members.
