Thiruvalluvar Arts & Science College for Women was started in the academic year 2013 – 2014 by Thiruvalluvar Trust, which was formed in the year 2002 by a group of seven management members.

Our college is affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University. The college has State Government approval and is affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University The college is located in the main road between Soolappuram and Mallapuram in 10.17 acres. The college functions from 10.00a.m to 4.20p.m. We follow day order system with six hours per day. Staff workload vary from 12 to 19 hrs per week. We conduct three internals and 1 Model exam. We have a library with 3256 books.

We have a very good infrastructure, toilet facilities and water facilities. The college provides lunch for all the teaching & Non teaching staff. A very good transportation facility is provided. The college has 4 buses. Our college has 2 labs. One for C.Sc. and other for Physics. We have 30 computers for the benefit of the students.
