VirtualTriage START

VirtualTriage is a program designed to classify the injured in an accident. It is aimed at all personnel who may be called to an emergency situation, such as firefighters, doctors, A&E personnel, nurses, police officers, the armed forces, etc.

It is an educational and continuous professional training triage tool which has been adapted to our emergency services, and to different triage methods and profiles.

VirtualTriage is based on triage methods for multiple-victim situations. It is used to classify and sort victims according to care priorities, depending on the seriousness of their injuries and their chances of survival based on treatment needs and available resources.
