Wiring Diagram Star Delta Part1

The star delta circuit is a motor installation circuit with a triangular star connection (YΔ), or better known as a star delta connection. The function of a star delta connection is to decrease or decrease the magnitude of the motor start current.

Delta-star or delta-star or Wye-delta relationship is quite popular as an application option that requires a small current consumption when the start of the motor is turned on but has some drawbacks that make it less choice after developing a better low-starter -voltage as a soft starter. The only reason for this starter choice is the cheaper cost than the other low-voltage starters.
