Our Amyloids game is named after a toxic protein that builds in the brain during Alzheimer’s. The game is an engaging way to understand the battle our scientists are fighting through their pioneering work. Your support and fundraising can help power their work and change the future.

We have reached crisis point. 850,000 people in the UK are affected by dementia. Dementia challenges our very being, altering behaviour and personality and jeopardising precious memories.

Our mission is to defeat dementia. In the game you must defeat dementia by stopping harmful proteins from building up inside the brain and damaging brain cells. This goal can only be achieved through research.

Our intelligence suggests that the proteins amyloid and tau are forming groups which are harmful to brain cells. Using your world-class scientific skills, you must enter the brain to break up the gathering amyloid army and heal brain cells that are under the grip of tau.
