Rannvijay is an engineer by education, a bureaucrat by business and a writer by nature. He got his initial education from a village in Faizabad and from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Faizabad from class 6 to 12. After this, he completed his B.Tech in Electrical from Pantnagar University, Udham Singh Nagar. He passed the Civil Services Examination (IAS 2001) and Engineering Services Examination (IES 1999) conducted by UPSC. He has been working in the Indian Railways since 2000. In Indian Railways, he contributed in many important aspects like traffic planning and management, rail operations, construction of infrastructure, research. In discharging this responsibility, he served in various posts in railway divisions, sub-divisions in Nashik, Ranchi, Jhansi, Kanpur, Agra and Lucknow. 'Rannvijay's father was a teacher in a school in the village. His mother is a homemaker. A lot of childhood was spent on the fields, the fields of immortals and the rams, trails. He currently serves as a director at RDSO Lucknow and resides there with his wife and two children. Apart from literature, he also has a good hold in painting, music, sports.
